Rapids restoration works on the Salaca

In August, the LIFE IS SALACA project started rapids restoration works. In 2024 the works are planned in three sections of the Salaca River, covering more than 6 ha in total. The works will restore habitats suitable for salmonid fish by removing emergent vegetation and the root systems it forms.
