Lecture on riparian forests at an international conference

On 30 October, Mārcis Saklaurs, lead riparian forest expert at the Latvian State Forest Research Institute “Silava” and the LIFE IS SALACA project, took part in the 10th International Conference of the Latvian Forest Certification Council “Sustainability and resources in land management: cooperation in times of crisis and change”.
In the second session – “Sustainability of forestry and related sectors: scientific aspects and different approaches” – Mārcis Saklaurs gave the lecture “Riparian forests”, presenting what has been done within the LIFE IS SALACA project in the field of riparian forest research and management.
